इदं दिव्यं वरं माल्यं वस्त्रमाभरणानि च ।
अङ्गरागं च वैदेहि महार्हं चानुलेपनम् ॥ ॥२-११८-१८॥
Idaṃ divyaṃ varaṃ mālyaṃ vastramābharaṇāni ca । Aṅgarāgaṃ ca vaidehi mahārhaṃ cānulepanam ॥ ॥2-118-18॥
Translation
"O Vaidehi! (Accept) this divine and excellent garland, clothing, ornaments, body unguent, and precious paste."

"हे वैदेही! यह दिव्य और श्रेष्ठ माला, वस्त्र, आभूषण, अंगराग (शरीर पर लगाने का उबटन) और बहुमूल्य अनुलेपन (मैं तुम्हें देती हूँ)।"
English Commentary
Anasuya presents Sita with a collection of items: Malyam (garlands), Vastram (clothes), Abharanani (jewelry), and Angaragam (cosmetic unguents). She qualifies them as Divyam (divine). Though Anasuya lives an austere life, she uses her yogic powers to produce these luxuries for Sita. She recognizes that while Sita lives in the forest, she is still a royal wife, and these items serve to preserve her dignity and auspiciousness (Saubhagya).

अनसूया सीता को वनवास के कष्टों से राहत देने वाली वस्तुएं देती हैं। ये सामान्य वस्त्र नहीं हैं, बल्कि 'दिव्य' हैं। वन में रहने वाली तपस्विनी के पास राजसी वस्त्र और आभूषण होना आश्चर्यजनक लग सकता है, लेकिन यह उनके तपोबल से प्रकट की गई वस्ताएँ हैं। अनसूया जानती हैं कि वन में सीता को श्रृंगार सामग्री नहीं मिलेगी, और एक सुहागिन स्त्री के लिए ये वस्तुएं मंगल-सूचक होती हैं।
