तथा सीतासुपासीनामनसूया दृढव्रता ।
वचनं प्रष्टुमारेभे काञ्चित् प्रियकथामनु ॥ ॥२-११८-२३॥
Tathā sītāsupāsīnāmanasūyā dṛḍhavratā । Vacanaṃ praṣṭumārebhe kāñcit priyakathāmanu ॥ ॥2-118-23॥
Translation
"To Sita, who was seated comfortably in that manner, Anasuya of firm vows began to ask questions regarding a certain pleasant story."

"इस प्रकार अपने पास सुखपूर्वक बैठी हुई सीता से, दृढ़ व्रत वाली अनसूया ने किसी प्रिय कथा (प्रसंग) के विषय में प्रश्न करना आरम्भ किया।"
English Commentary
The tone shifts from formal instruction to intimate conversation. Anasuya, described as Dridhavrata (of firm vows), initiates a dialogue about a Priyakatha (pleasant tale). Seeing Sita seated comfortably, she seeks to bond with her by asking about her life. This transition humanizes the ascetic, showing that she is interested in Sita’s personal history and happiness, not just her spiritual duties.
