Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
तां कथां श्रोतुमिच्छामि विस्तरेण च मैथिलि ।
यथानुभूतं कार्त्स्न्येन तन्मे त्वं वक्तुमर्हसि ॥ ॥२-११८-२५॥
Tāṃ kathāṃ śrotumicchāmi vistareṇa ca maithili । Yathānubhūtaṃ kārtsnyena tanme tvaṃ vaktumarhasi ॥ ॥2-118-25॥
Translation
"O Maithili! I wish to hear that story in detail. You ought to tell me everything entirely as it was experienced by you."

"हे मैथिली! मैं उस कथा को विस्तार से सुनना चाहती हूँ। जैसा तुमने अनुभव किया हो, वह सब वृत्तांत मुझे पूर्ण रूप से (शुरू से अंत तक) सुनाओ।"
English Commentary
Anasuya requests a detailed narration (Vistarena). She specifically asks for Yathanubhutam—'as experienced by you.' She wants the first-person perspective of the bride, not a bard's retelling. Asking for the story Kartsnyena (entirely/completely) invites Sita to recount the emotions, the atmosphere, and the sequence of events of the breaking of Shiva’s bow. This request allows Sita to relive her joyous union with Rama amidst her current trials.

अनसूया संक्षेप में नहीं, बल्कि 'विस्तरेण' (विस्तार से) और 'कार्त्स्न्येन' (संपूर्णता में) सुनना चाहती हैं। वे सीता के दृष्टिकोण ('यथानुभूतं' - जैसा अनुभव किया) से घटना को जानना चाहती हैं। अक्सर कहानियाँ दूसरों द्वारा सुनाई जाती हैं, लेकिन स्वयं 'दुल्हन' के मुख से विवाह का वर्णन सुनने का आनंद ही कुछ और है। यह सीता को अपने जीवन के सबसे सुखद क्षणों को फिर से जीने का अवसर देता है, जो वनवास के दुःख को कुछ समय के लिए भुला देगा।
