न्यवेदयत्तत: सर्वं सीता रामाय मैथिली ।
प्रीतिदानं तपस्विन्या वसनाभरणस्रजम् ॥२-११९-१३॥
Nyavedayattataḥ sarvaṃ sītā rāmāya maithilī । Prītidānaṃ tapasvinyā vasanābharaṇasrajam ॥ ॥2-119-13॥
Translation
Then, Maithili (Sita) narrated everything to Rama regarding the gifts given out of love by the ascetic woman—the garments, ornaments, and garlands.

तदनंतर मैथिली सीता ने तपस्विनी अनसूया द्वारा प्रेमपूर्वक दिए गए वस्त्र, आभूषण और मालाओं के बारे में सब कुछ श्री राम को निवेदित किया (विस्तार से बताया)।
English Commentary
This verse illustrates the transparent and communicative relationship between Rama and Sita. Even though Rama could see the ornaments, Sita takes the time to narrate the details of the "prītidāna" (gifts of love)—the clothes, jewelry, and garlands. Sharing the story behind the gifts is as important as the gifts themselves. It reflects Sita's excitement and her desire to share her experiences with her husband. This narration serves as a brief interlude of joy and normalcy for the couple amidst the austerity of their exile, reinforcing their bond before they face the challenges of the Dandakaranya.

यह श्लोक पति-पत्नी के बीच के पारदर्शी और संवादपूर्ण संबंध को दर्शाता है। यद्यपि राम ने सीता को आभूषणों में देख लिया था, फिर भी सीता ने उन्हें विस्तार से बताया कि उन्हें क्या-क्या प्राप्त हुआ है और किस संदर्भ में प्राप्त हुआ है। 'न्यवेदयत्तत: सर्वं' का अर्थ है कि उन्होंने कुछ भी छिपाया नहीं। सीता जानती हैं कि यह केवल भौतिक वस्तुएं नहीं हैं, बल्कि इनमें अनसूया का तप और आशीर्वाद निहित है। यह संवाद वनवास के कठिन समय में भी राम और सीता के बीच के सुखद और सामान्य दांपत्य क्षणों को रेखांकित करता है।
