व्यक्ताक्षरपदं चित्रं भाषितं मधुरं त्वया ।
यथा स्वयम्वरं वृत्तं तत्सर्वं हि श्रुतं मया ।
रमे ऽहं कथया ते तु दृढं मधुरभाषिणि ॥२-११९-२॥
vyaktākṣarapadaṃ citraṃ bhāṣitaṃ madhuraṃ tvayā । yathā svayamvaraṃ vṛttaṃ tatsarvaṃ hi śrutaṃ mayā । rame 'haṃ kathayā te tu dṛḍhaṃ madhurabhāṣiṇi ॥2-119-2॥
Translation
"O sweet-spoken one! You have narrated the story of the Swayamvara in clear words and sentences, full of wonder and sweetness. I have heard it all. I am deeply delighted by your narration."
हिंदी अनुवाद
"हे मधुरभाषिणी! तुमने स्पष्ट अक्षरों और पदों वाली, विचित्र (अद्भुत) और मधुर वाणी में स्वयंवर का जैसा वृत्तांत सुनाया, वह सब मैंने सुन लिया है। मैं तुम्हारी कथा से अत्यंत प्रसन्न हूँ।"
English Commentary
