बुद्ध्यस्व नृपशार्दूल कुरु कार्यमनन्तरम् ।
उपतिष्ठते रामस्य समग्रमभिषेचनम् ॥ ॥२-१४-५४॥
Buddhyasva nṛpaśārdūla kuru kāryamanantaram । Upatiṣṭhate rāmasya samagramabhiṣecanam ॥ ॥2-14-54॥
Translation
"Awake, O Tiger among Kings! Perform the subsequent duties. The entire collection of materials for Rama's coronation is ready/waiting."

"हे नृपशार्दूल (राजाओं में सिंह)! जागिए और अपने शेष कर्तव्यों को पूरा कीजिये। राम के राज्याभिषेक की समस्त सामग्री उपस्थित है (या तैयारी पूरी है)।"
English Commentary
The address Nṛpaśārdūla (Tiger among men) serves as a stark contrast to Dasharatha’s actual frail state. Sumantra urges him to Buddhyasva (wake up/become conscious) and perform the Anantaram Karyam (immediate next tasks). The urgency stems from the fact that Rama’s Abhishechanam (coronation) setup is Samagram (complete/entire). Every minute the King delays implies a delay in the auspicious moment. Sumantra is presenting the readiness of the external world, unbeknownst to the unreadiness of the King's internal world.

सुमन्त्र राजा को 'नृपशार्दूल' (मनुष्यों/राजाओं में बाघ) कहकर संबोधित करते हैं, जो शक्ति और पौरुष का प्रतीक है। 'बुद्ध्यस्व' (जागिए) अब केवल नींद से जागने का नहीं, बल्कि कर्म में प्रवृत्त होने का आवाहन है। सुमन्त्र स्पष्ट करते हैं कि 'समग्रमभिषेचनम्'—अभिषेक की पूरी तैयारी हो चुकी है। अब केवल राजा की उपस्थिति और आदेश की देर है। यह श्लोक दशरथ पर दबाव बढ़ाता है, क्योंकि तैयारी पूरी होने की सूचना का अर्थ है कि प्रक्रिया को अब रोका नहीं जा सकता (सामान्य परिस्थितियों में)।
