Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
राज्यम् द्विजातिभिर्जुष्टम् राजसूयाभिषेचनम् ।
कर्तुमर्हति ते राजा वासवस्येव लोककृत् ॥ ॥२-१६-२२॥
Rājyam dvijātibhirjuṣṭam rājasūyābhiṣecanam । Kartumarhati te rājā vāsavasyeva lokakṛt ॥ ॥2-16-22॥
Translation
(Sita blessed him): Just as the Creator anointed Indra, may the King assert your claim to the kingdom, which is served by the twice-born and is worthy of the Rajasuya consecration.
हिंदी अनुवाद
(सीता ने आशीर्वाद दिया): जैसे ब्रह्मा जी ने इंद्र का अभिषेक किया था, उसी प्रकार राजा दशरथ ब्राह्मणों द्वारा सेवित और राजसूय यज्ञ के फल वाले राज्य पर आपका अभिषेक करें।
English Commentary
Sita’s blessing reflects her deep knowledge of scriptures and tradition. By comparing Rama to Indra (Vasava) and invoking the Creator (Lokakrit), she elevates Rama’s status to that of a divine ruler. She mentions the Rajasuya, a sacrifice performed only by a universal monarch, indicating her vision of Rama not just as a king, but as an Emperor. The phrase dvijātibhirjuṣṭam emphasizes a kingdom guided by wisdom and righteousness (Dharma), supported by the learned class. It is a wish for supreme power balanced by spiritual wisdom.
