दण्डक अरण्यम् एषो अहम् इतः गच्चामि सत्वरः ।
अविचार्य पितुर् वाक्यम् समावस्तुम् चतुर् दश ॥२-१९-११॥
daṇḍaka araṇyam eṣo aham itaḥ gaccāmi satvaraḥ |
avicārya pitur vākyam samāvastum catur daśa ॥2-19-11॥
Translation
Without questioning my father's words, I am going from here to the Dandaka forest immediately, to reside there for fourteen years.

पिता के वचन पर (अधिक) विचार न करते हुए, मैं चौदह वर्षों तक निवास करने के लिए यहाँ से शीघ्र ही दंडक वन को जा रहा हूँ।
English Commentary
Rama declares his immediate departure. The word avicarya (without deliberation/questioning) indicates his absolute obedience; he refuses to analyze the fairness or logic of the command. He asserts he is leaving 'immediately' (satvarah). Rama perceives that delay is dangerous—not for him, but for Dasharatha. Any hesitation might allow the King's paternal love to overpower his pledge, causing him to break his word. To protect his father's integrity, Rama takes the initiative to execute the sentence swiftly, closing the door on any reconsideration.

राम अपनी तत्परता (Urgency) व्यक्त करते हैं। 'अविचार्य' (बिना विचार किए/बिना तर्क किए) शब्द महत्वपूर्ण है। राम पिता के आदेश के औचित्य (Merit) पर बहस नहीं करना चाहते। वे इसे 'सत्वरः' (शीघ्र) कार्यान्वित करना चाहते हैं। राम को भय है कि यदि उन्होंने विलंब किया, तो पिता का मोह जाग सकता है और वे अपनी प्रतिज्ञा से पीछे हट सकते हैं, जिससे उनका 'सत्य' खंडित हो जाएगा। इसलिए, पिता के धर्म की रक्षा के लिए राम अपनी विदाई में जल्दबाजी दिखा रहे हैं।
