उपक्लुप्तम् हि यत्किम्चिदभिषेकार्थमद्य मे ।
स्र्वम् विसर्जय क्षिप्रम् कुरु कार्यम् निरत्ययम् ॥ ॥२-२२-४॥
Upakluptam hi yatkimcidabhiṣekārthamadya me । Sarvam visarjaya kṣipram kuru kāryam niratyayam ॥ ॥2-22-4॥
Translation
Whatever materials have been gathered today for my coronation, discard/discharge them all quickly and perform the task that is free from fault (preparation for the forest).

आज मेरे अभिषेक के लिए जो कुछ भी सामग्री जुटाई गई है, उस सबको शीघ्र हटा दो (विसर्जित कर दो) और वह कार्य करो जो दोषरहित (निरत्यय) हो (अर्थात वनगमन की तैयारी)।
English Commentary
Moving from philosophy to action, Rama commands the immediate dismantling of the coronation setup. The materials gathered (upakluptam) are now obsolete. By asking to discharge them (visarjaya), Rama signals a complete detachment from the throne. He instructs Lakshmana to focus on work that is niratyayam—literally meaning "without lapse" or "free from sin/calamity." In Rama's view, proceeding with the coronation against the King's word would be a calamitous sin. The only "faultless" action now is to strip away the royal grandeur and prepare for the ascetic life, ensuring the integrity of his father's vow.

राम अब व्यावहारिक निर्देश दे रहे हैं। 'उपक्लुप्तम्' का अर्थ है जो तैयारी पूरी हो चुकी थी। कलश, छत्र, चंवरी—ये सब अब राज्याभिषेक के नहीं, बल्कि टूटे हुए सपनों के प्रतीक हैं। राम लक्ष्मण से कहते हैं कि इन्हें 'क्षिप्रम्' (तुरंत) हटाओ। देरी करने से मोह उत्पन्न हो सकता है। राम लक्ष्मण को 'निरत्ययम्' कार्य करने को कहते हैं। 'निरत्यय' का अर्थ है जिसमें कोई 'अत्यय' (नाश/दोष/पाप) न हो। राज्याभिषेक की जिद करना पिता के सत्य का नाश करेगा (दोषपूर्ण है), जबकि वन जाना सत्य की रक्षा करेगा (दोषरहित है)। राम का ध्यान भौतिक भव्यता को त्यागकर आध्यात्मिक कर्तव्य की ओर है।
