यस्त्वा सम्चोदयति मे वच आच्चिद्य राघव ।
गच्छेदानीम् महाबाहो क्षेमेण पुनरागतः ॥२-२४-३५॥
yastvā samcodayati me vaca āccidya rāghava |
gacchedānīm mahābāho kṣemeṇa punarāgataḥ ॥2-24-35॥
Translation
O Raghava, that (Destiny) which propels you, having cut off my words (of prevention)... Go now, O Mighty-armed one, and return in safety.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे राघव! जो (दैव) मेरी बात (रोकने के प्रयास) को काटकर तुम्हें वन जाने के लिए प्रेरित कर रहा है, (उसके अधीन होकर) हे महाबाहु! अब तुम जाओ और पुनः कुशलपूर्वक वापस आओ।
English Commentary
Kausalya recognizes that a force greater than her maternal plea is at work. She admits that this force (Destiny) has overruled ('aaccidya' - having cut off) her objections and impels Rama forward. Accepting this, she says 'gaccha idanim' (go now). This is the pivotal moment of release where the mother lets go of the son. Addressing him as 'Mahabaho' (Mighty-armed), she acknowledges his strength and suitability for the hardships ahead. Her prayer focuses on 'kshemena' (safety/well-being), wishing for his safe return after the ordeal.

कौशल्या अब पूरी तरह से विदा देने के लिए तैयार हैं। वह कहती हैं कि कोई अदृश्य शक्ति है जो उनके 'वच आच्चिद्य' (वचनों को काटकर/अनसुना करके) राम को वन की ओर धकेल रही है। वह इसे नियति का ही रूप मानती हैं। 'गच्छेदानीम्' (अब जाओ) कहकर वह औपचारिक रूप से प्रस्थान की आज्ञा देती हैं। 'क्षेमेण पुनरागतः' (कुशलता से वापस आओ) उनका मुख्य आशीर्वाद है। 'महाबाहो' (विशाल भुजाओं वाले) संबोधन राम के क्षत्रिय बल और सामर्थ्य को याद दिलाता है, जिससे माता को विश्वास होता है कि उनका पुत्र अपनी रक्षा करने में समर्थ है।
