ऋतवश्चैव पक्षाश्च मासास्सम्वत्सराः क्षपाः ।
दिनानि च मुहूर्ताः च स्वस्ति कुर्वन्तु ते सदा ॥२-२५-१०॥
ṛtavaścaiva pakṣāśca māsāssamvatsarāḥ kṣapāḥ |
dināni ca muhūrtāḥ ca svasti kurvantu te sadā ॥2-25-10॥
Translation
May the seasons, fortnights, months, years, nights, days, and moments always ensure your well-being.

ऋतुएं, पक्ष, मास, संवत्सर, रातें, दिन और मुहूर्त—ये सब सदा तुम्हारा कल्याण (स्वस्ति) करें।
English Commentary
(Note: The repetition of time elements from the previous verse emphasizes the user's text structure). Kausalya drills down from the macro to the micro aspects of Time. She adds 'dinani' (days) and 'muhurtah' (moments/short periods) to the list. This signifies her desire for continuous, unbroken protection. Not a single moment should pass where Rama is vulnerable. By explicitly asking these temporal forces to 'svasti kurvantu' (do good/ensure welfare), she seeks to neutralize the hardships associated with the cycle of day and night in the wilderness (extreme heat, cold, darkness). It is a comprehensive prayer covering the entire temporal span of the exile.
