मा च त्वाम् हिम्सिषुः पुत्र मया सम्पूजिताः तु इह ।
आगमाः ते शिवाः सन्तु सिध्यन्तु च पराक्रमाः ॥ ॥२-२५-२१॥
Mā ca tvām himsiṣuḥ putra mayā sampūjitas tu iha । Āgamāḥ te śivāḥ santu sidhyantu ca parākramāḥ ॥ ॥2-25-21॥
Translation
O Son! May those deities whom I have worshipped here not cause you harm. May your paths be auspicious, and may your valorous endeavors be successful.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे पुत्र! जिनकी मैंने यहाँ पूजा की है, वे (दैवीय शक्तियां) तुम्हारी हिंसा न करें। तुम्हारे मार्ग (आगम) कल्याणकारी हों और तुम्हारे पराक्रम (प्रयास) सफल हों।
English Commentary
Here, Kausalya invokes the merit of her own personal worship (Puja) as leverage for Rama's safety. She asks that the entities she has propitiated back in the palace do not turn against Rama in the wild. The prayer transitions from protection to success with the phrase Sidhyantu ca parakramah (May your valor bear fruit). This acknowledges that Rama is not going on a holiday but on a mission that will require strength and bravery. She prays not just for his survival, but for the success of his undertakings, blending maternal care with the blessing needed for a warrior prince.

इस श्लोक में कौशल्या अपनी भक्ति और तपस्या को राम की सुरक्षा के लिए दांव पर लगाती हैं। 'मया सम्पूजिताः' का अर्थ है कि उन्होंने जिन-जिन शक्तियों की आराधना की है, वे राम के रक्षक बनें। वह यह भी प्रार्थना करती हैं कि उन शक्तियों का कोप राम पर न हो (मा हिम्सिषुः)। इसके बाद वह राम की यात्रा और भविष्य के लिए आशीर्वाद देती हैं—'आगमाः ते शिवाः' (तुम्हारे रास्ते मंगलमय हों)। 'सिध्यन्तु च पराक्रमाः' एक महत्वपूर्ण आशीर्वाद है, क्योंकि राम को वन में केवल बचना नहीं है, बल्कि अपने क्षत्रिय धर्म और पराक्रम को सिद्ध भी करना है। यह एक माँ और एक क्षत्राणी दोनों का मिश्रित आशीर्वाद है।
