द्रक्ष्यामि त्वाम् वनात्र्पाप्तम् पूर्णचन्द्रमिवोदितम् ।
भद्रासनगतम् राम वनवासादिहागतम् ॥ ॥२-२५-४३॥
Drakṣyāmi tvām vanātrpāptam pūrṇacandramivoditam । Bhadrāsanagatam rāma vanavāsādihāgatam ॥ ॥2-25-43॥
Translation
"May I see you returned from the exile like the rising full moon, and seated upon the auspicious throne (Bhadrasana)."

"मैं वनवास से लौटकर आए हुए तुम्हें उदित होते हुए पूर्ण चंद्रमा के समान और भद्रासन (सिंहासन) पर बैठे हुए देखूं।"
English Commentary
The imagery implies resurrection and restoration. Comparing Rama to the Purna-chandra (full moon) reinforces his calming, luminous nature which delights the world. Crucially, she mentions the Bhadrasana—the royal throne. Even in this moment of defeat, Kausalya holds onto the political reality: Rama is the rightful king. She asserts that the exile is temporary and that the ultimate destiny is the throne. She refuses to accept the exile as a permanent loss of his royal status.

यहाँ 'भद्रासन' शब्द अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है। भद्रासन राज्याभिषेक का सिंहासन है। यद्यपि अभी राम का राज्याभिषेक रुक गया है, कौशल्या ने वह सपना नहीं छोड़ा है। वह मानती हैं कि यह केवल एक विराम है, अंत नहीं। राम की तुलना 'पूर्णचंद्र' से की गई है क्योंकि राम 'रामचन्द्र' हैं और उनका स्वभाव चंद्रमा की तरह शीतल और आनंददायी है। वनवास की अमावस्या के बाद, वह उन्हें पूर्णिमा के चाँद की तरह चमकते हुए देखना चाहती हैं।
