आदेशो वन वासस्य प्राप्तव्यः स मया किल ।
सा त्वया सह तत्र अहम् यास्यामि प्रिय न अन्यथा ॥ ॥२-२९-१०॥
Ādeśo vana vāsasya prāptavyaḥ sa mayā kila । Sā tvayā saha tatra aham yāsyāmi priya na anyathā ॥ ॥2-29-10॥
Translation
That decree of forest life must indeed be fulfilled by me. Therefore, O beloved, I shall go there with you; it cannot be otherwise.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वनवास का वह आदेश (दैवीय विधान) मुझे प्राप्त करना ही है। इसलिए हे प्रिय! मैं आपके साथ ही वहां जाऊंगी, इसके विपरीत कुछ नहीं होगा।
English Commentary
Sita asserts that destiny is non-negotiable. The ādeśo (command/decree) of the stars must be prāptavyaḥ (attained/experienced). Since she must go to the forest anyway to fulfill the prophecy, she argues it is only logical and right that she goes tvayā saha (with you). She concludes with na anyathā (not otherwise), closing the door on any alternative options. She skillfully aligns her desire to be with Rama with the inevitability of fate.

सीता जी अब निर्णय सुनाती हैं। भविष्यवाणी को वे एक 'आदेश' मानती हैं जिसे पूरा करना उनका धर्म है। 'प्राप्तव्यः'—अर्थात् उसे भुगतना ही है। वे कहती हैं कि जब वनवास लिखा ही है, तो उसे 'त्वया सह' (तुम्हारे साथ) पूरा करना ही उचित है। 'न अन्यथा' (इसके सिवा कुछ नहीं)—यह उनकी दृढ़ प्रतिज्ञा है। वे राम को स्पष्ट कर देती हैं कि उन्हें रोकने का प्रयास व्यर्थ है क्योंकि वे केवल पति का साथ नहीं दे रहीं, बल्कि विधि के विधान का पालन कर रही हैं।
