Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
कृत आदेशा भविष्यामि गमिष्यामि सह त्वया ।
कालः च अयम् समुत्पन्नः सत्य वाग् भवतु द्विजः ॥ ॥२-२९-११॥
Kṛta ādeśā bhaviṣyāmi gamiṣyāmi saha tvayā । Kālaḥ ca ayam samutpannaḥ satya vāg bhavatu dvijaḥ ॥ ॥2-29-11॥
Translation
I shall fulfill that prophecy by going with you. The time for it has now arrived; let the words of the Brahmin become true.
हिंदी अनुवाद
आपके साथ चलकर मैं उस आदेश (भविष्यवाणी) को पूरा करूंगी। वह समय अब आ गया है; उन ब्राह्मणों की वाणी सत्य हो।
English Commentary
Sita positions her departure as a fulfillment of truth. She states that the kālaḥ (time) predicted by the seers has arrived samutpannaḥ. By accompanying Rama, she will ensure the Brahmin remains a satya vāg (speaker of truth). This adds a layer of religious obligation to her request; preventing her from going would not only break her heart but also falsify the holy men's predictions. She cleverly traps Rama in the web of Dharma—to uphold truth, he must take her along.

सीता जी कहती हैं कि राम का वनवास संयोग से वही 'काल' (समय) लेकर आया है जिसकी भविष्यवाणी की गई थी। वे राम के साथ जाकर उस भविष्यवाणी को 'कृत आदेशा' (पूरी) करेंगी। वे चाहती हैं कि ब्राह्मणों के वचन झूठे न पड़ें ('सत्य वाग् भवतु द्विजः')। यह एक बहुत ही चतुर तर्क है—यदि राम उन्हें रोकते हैं, तो वे ब्राह्मणों की बात को झूठा करने के दोषी होंगे। सीता अपने वनगमन को धर्म और सत्य की रक्षा से जोड़ देती हैं।
