Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
कक्ष्यां द्वितीयामासाद्य तिष्ठन्तु नृपवेश्मनः ।
देवायतनचैत्येषु सान्नभक्षाः सदक्षिणाः ॥२-३-१८॥
kakṣyāṃ dvitīyāmāsādya tiṣṭhantu nṛpaveśmanaḥ |
devāyatanacaityeṣu sānnabhakṣāḥ sadakṣiṇāḥ ॥2-3-18॥
Translation
"Let them [the officials/guests] stand awaiting in the second inner court of the King’s palace. Let [other worthy people] remain at the temples and sacred monuments, provided with food and refreshments along with dakshina (gifts)."
हिंदी अनुवाद
"राजा के महल के दूसरे आभिजात्य मंडप में रुकें। देवालयों और पूजा स्थलों में भिक्षाटन के लिए अन्न और दक्षिणा उपलब्ध हो।"
English Commentary
This verse delineates the seating/waiting arrangements for various groups of people involved in or benefitting from the coronation, organizing the city's spiritual and official participants.
