शयनीयानि यानानि मम चान्यानि यानि च ।
देहि स्वभृत्यवर्गस्य ब्राह्मणानामनन्तरम् ॥ ॥२-३०-४५॥
śayanīyāni yānāni mama cānyāni yāni ca । dehi svabhṛtyavargasya brāhmaṇānāmanantaram ॥ ॥2-30-45॥
Translation
...and the beds, vehicles, and whatever other possessions are mine; give them to your own staff of servants, after satisfying the Brahmins.

...तथा शय्याएं (बिछौने), सवारियां और मेरी जो भी अन्य वस्तुएं हैं, उन्हें ब्राह्मणों को देने के बाद, अपने सेवक-वर्ग को दे दो।
English Commentary
Rama demonstrates his responsibility toward his dependents. It is not enough to give only to the priests; he must also secure the future of the loyal staff (bhṛtyavarga) who have served them. Items like beds and vehicles are practical assets that can support the servants' livelihoods in Rama's absence. This gesture reflects Rama's compassionate leadership. Even while facing the personal crisis of exile, he calculates the welfare of the lowest members of his household. He ensures that his departure does not leave his dependents destitute. This balance of spiritual charity (to Brahmins) and social responsibility (to servants) defines Rama's approach to Dharma.

राम यहाँ अपने आश्रितों (सेवकों) के प्रति अपनी जिम्मेदारी निभा रहे हैं। केवल ब्राह्मणों को दान देना पर्याप्त नहीं है; जो सेवक ('भृत्यवर्ग') वर्षों से उनकी सेवा कर रहे थे, उनका भविष्य सुरक्षित करना भी राम का धर्म है। 'शयनीयानि' (बिस्तर) और 'यानानि' (वाहन) जैसी सुख-सुविधा की वस्तुएं सेवकों के काम आ सकती हैं या वे उन्हें बेचकर अपना जीवन यापन कर सकते हैं। राम का यह व्यवहार 'लोकसंग्रह' का उदाहरण है। वन जाते समय भी वे यह सुनिश्चित कर रहे हैं कि उनके जाने के बाद उनके कारण कोई भी व्यक्ति अभाव में न रहे। यह एक आदर्श राजा और स्वामी का लक्षण है जो विपत्ति में भी अपने अधीनस्थों का ध्यान रखता है।
