अनुकूलम् तु सा भर्तुर् ज्ञात्वा गमनम् आत्मनः ।
क्षिप्रम् प्रमुदिता देवी दातुम् एव उपचक्रमे ॥ ॥२-३०-४६॥
anukūlam tu sā bhartur jñātvā gamanam ātmanaḥ । kṣipram pramuditā devī dātum eva upacakrame ॥ ॥2-30-46॥
Translation
Knowing that her husband's decision regarding her departure was favorable to her, the divine lady (Sita) was delighted and immediately began to give away her possessions.
हिंदी अनुवाद
अपने वन जाने के विषय में पति का मत अपने अनुकूल जानकर, वह देवी (सीता) अत्यंत प्रसन्न हुईं और शीघ्रता से दान देने लगीं।
English Commentary
This verse captures Sita's emotional state beautifully. Usually, parting with immense wealth causes hesitation or sorrow. However, Sita is pramuditā (overjoyed). Her joy does not stem from the act of giving itself, but from the cause behind it: knowing that her husband has agreed to take her along. For Sita, the company of Rama outweighs all the treasures of Ayodhya. The word kṣipram (swiftly) indicates her eagerness. She wants to shed the baggage of royalty immediately to cement the plan. It reflects her priority: she gladly trades a kingdom for the hardships of the forest, as long as that forest contains Rama.

यहाँ सीता की मनोदशा का सुंदर चित्रण है। सामान्यतः अपनी बहुमूल्य संपत्ति को दान करते समय मनुष्य के मन में विषाद या संकोच होता है। परन्तु सीता 'प्रमुदिता' (अत्यंत प्रसन्न) हैं। उनकी प्रसन्नता का कारण धन का त्याग नहीं, बल्कि 'गमनम् आत्मनः' (अपने वन जाने की अनुमति) है। उनके लिए राम का सान्निध्य उन रत्नों और आभूषणों से कहीं अधिक मूल्यवान है। 'क्षिप्रम्' (शीघ्रता से) शब्द दिखाता है कि वे कोई मौका नहीं छोड़ना चाहतीं। उन्हें डर है कि कहीं राम अपना निर्णय बदल न दें, या कोई नई बाधा न आ जाए, इसलिए वे जल्दी से जल्दी सारी बाधाओं (संपत्ति) को हटाकर राम के साथ चलने के लिए तैयार हो जाना चाहती हैं।
