नरेन्द्रेणैवमुक्तस्तु गत्वा कोशगृहं ततः ।
प्रायच्छत्सर्वमाहृत्य सीतायै क्षिप्रमेव तत् ॥२-३-nine 16॥ ॥२-३९-१६॥
narendreṇaivamuktastu gatvā kośagṛhaṃ tataḥ |
prāyacchatsarvamāhṛtya sītāyai kṣiprameva tat ॥2-39-16॥
Translation
Thus ordered by the Lord of Men, he (the treasurer) went to the treasury, gathered everything, and quickly gave it to Sita.
हिंदी अनुवाद
नरेन्द्र (राजा) द्वारा इस प्रकार कहे जाने पर, वह (कोषाध्यक्ष) कोशगृह (खजाने) में गया और वह सब (वस्त्र-आभूषण) लाकर शीघ्र ही सीता को प्रदान कर दिया।
English Commentary
The treasurer obeys the Narendra (Lord of Men) implicitly and immediately. The swiftness (kṣipram eva) of the execution suggests the urgency of the moment; the departure is imminent. By retrieving the items from the kośa-gṛham (treasury) and handing them directly to Sita, the official validates her status. Even though she is leaving, she carries the blessings and resources of the royal house, sanctioned by the King himself, distinguishing her exile experience from Rama's stricter ascetic vow.

राजा की आज्ञा का पालन तत्काल होता है। 'नरेन्द्रेण' (नरों के इंद्र/राजा) शब्द राजा की सत्ता को पुष्ट करता है—शोकग्रस्त होने पर भी उनका आदेश अंतिम है। कोषाध्यक्ष बिना प्रश्न किये खजाने ('कोशगृहं') से आवश्यक सामग्री लाता है और सीता को सौंप देता है। 'क्षिप्रमेव' (शीघ्र ही) शब्द पुनः तत्परता को दर्शाता है। यह घटनाक्रम वन गमन से ठीक पहले की आपाधापी और साथ ही राजकाज की सुचारू व्यवस्था को दिखाता है।
