इत्युक्तः सोऽभ्यनुज्ञातः श्वोभाविन्यभिषेचने ।
व्रजेति रामः पितरमभिवाद्याभ्ययाद्गृहम् ॥२-४-२८॥

Translation
Thus spoken to and permitted with the words "Go (prepare) for tomorrow's coronation," Rama saluted his father and went towards his home.

इस प्रकार कहे जाने पर और "कल होने वाले अभिषेक के लिए जाओ (तैयारी करो)" ऐसी आज्ञा पाकर, राम ने पिता का अभिवादन किया और अपने महल की ओर प्रस्थान किया।
English Commentary
The urgent private meeting concludes. Dasharatha explicitly commands Rama to prepare for the event happening shvabhavini (tomorrow). The brevity of the command "Vraja" (Go) underlines the urgency. Rama, maintaining his characteristic poise, offers his salutations (abhivadya) and departs. He does not debate the ethics of excluding Bharata, trusting his father's judgment. This moment marks the final separation of father and son before the catastrophe; the next time they are near each other, the circumstances will have drastically changed.

एकांत वार्ता समाप्त होती है। 'श्वोभाविनि' (कल होने वाले) शब्द अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है—सारी व्यग्रता इसी 'कल' के लिए है। पिता की आज्ञा 'व्रज' (जाओ) शिरोधार्य करके राम अपने महल लौटते हैं। राम की प्रतिक्रिया यहाँ भी संयमित है; वे न तो उछल रहे हैं और न ही प्रश्न कर रहे हैं। वे बस पिता की आज्ञा का पालन कर रहे हैं। यह श्लोक घटनाक्रम की गति को दर्शाता है—निर्णय ले लिया गया है, समय तय है, और अब केवल क्रियान्वयन शेष है।
