तथा सनियमामेव सोऽभिगम्याभिवाद्य च ।
उवाच वचनं रामो हर्ष्यंस्तामिदं तदा ॥२-४-३४॥
tathā saniyamāmeva so'bhigamyābhivādya ca |
uvāca vacanaṃ rāmo harṣayaṃstāmidam tadā ॥2-4-34॥
Translation
Rama approached her, who was thus observing vows, saluted her, and spoke these words, delighting them all.
हिंदी अनुवाद
राम ने नियम (व्रत) में स्थित माता के पास जाकर, उन्हें प्रणाम किया और (वहां उपस्थित लोगों को) हर्षित करते हुए यह वचन कहा।
English Commentary
Rama enters the sacred space gently. Seeing his mother saniyamam (engaged in vows/discipline), he respects the atmosphere but performs his duty of salutation (abhivadya). The mere presence of Rama and his speech brings joy (harshayan) to the group. The verse acts as a bridge between the silent meditation of the previous verses and the spoken interaction that follows. It shows Rama's ability to transition from the formal court of his father to the spiritual intimacy of his mother's chambers with grace.
हिंदी टीका
राम अपनी माँ को ध्यानमग्न देखते हैं, फिर भी वे उनके पास जाते हैं ('अभिगम्य') और प्रणाम करते हैं ('अभिवाद्य')। राम जानते हैं कि यह नियम उनके लिए ही रखा गया है, इसलिए वे धीरे से अपनी उपस्थिति दर्ज कराते हैं। 'हर्ष्यंस्तदा' (हर्षित करते हुए) का अर्थ है कि राम का आगमन और उनके मुख पर छाई प्रसन्नता ने वहां उपस्थित सीता, लक्ष्मण और माताओं के आनंद को कई गुना बढ़ा दिया। राम का व्यक्तित्व ऐसा है कि वे तनावपूर्ण वातावरण में भी शीतलता और खुशी ले आते हैं।
