Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
अमोघं बत मे क्षान्तं पुरुषे पुष्करेक्षणे ।
येयमिक्ष्वाकुराज्यश्रीः पुत्र त्वां संश्रयिष्यति ॥२-४-४१॥
amoghaṃ bata me kṣāntaṃ puruṣe puṣkarekṣaṇe |
yeyamikṣvākurājyaśrīḥ putra tvāṃ saṃśrayiṣyati ॥2-4-41॥
Translation
"It is indeed a joy that my patient service to the Lotus-eyed Lord has not been in vain, for this royal fortune of the Ikshvakus will now resort to you, O Son."
हिंदी अनुवाद
"बबड़े हर्ष की बात है कि कमलनेत्र पुरुष (भगवान विष्णु) की मेरी उपासना/सेवा सफल (अमोघ) हुई, जिसके फलस्वरूप इक्ष्वाकु वंश की यह राजलक्ष्मी, हे पुत्र! तुम्हारा आश्रय लेगी।"
English Commentary
Kausalya attributes the coronation to the grace of the Divine. She exclaims that her kshantam (patience/austerity) dedicated to the Pushkarekshana Purusha (Lotus-eyed Lord Vishnu) has become amogham (unfailing/fruitful). This reflects the Karma yoga philosophy—she performed her duties/prayers, and now the fruit has arrived. She personifies the Kingdom as Rajyalakshmi seeking refuge (samshrayishyati) in Rama, implying that the kingdom needs Rama for its own stability more than Rama needs the kingdom.

कौशल्या अपनी सफलता का श्रेय अपनी तपस्या और ईश्वर कृपा को देती हैं। 'अमोघं' का अर्थ है निष्फल न होना। 'पुरुषे पुष्करेक्षणे' (कमल नयन पुरुष) का संदर्भ भगवान विष्णु से है, जिनकी आराधना वे कर रही थीं। कौशल्या मानती हैं कि राम को राज्य मिलना उनके व्यक्तिगत प्रयासों का नहीं, बल्कि दैवीय आशीर्वाद का फल है। 'इक्ष्वाकुराज्यश्रीः' (इक्ष्वाकु कुल की राजलक्ष्मी) का राम के पास आना एक बड़ी जिम्मेदारी है। कौशल्या खुश हैं कि राजलक्ष्मी अब सुरक्षित हाथों में होगी। यह एक माँ का कृतज्ञता ज्ञापन है।
