अभिवाद्य नमस्यन्तं शूरं ससुहृदं सुतम् ।
मुदास्रैः प्रोक्ष्यसि पुनर्मेघराजिरिवाचलम् ॥ ॥२-४४-२९॥
abhivādya namasyantaṃ śūraṃ sasuhṛdaṃ sutam । mudāsraiḥ prokṣyasi punarmegharājirivācalam ॥ ॥2-44-29॥
Translation
As your hero son, along with his friends, bows and salutes you, you will sprinkle him with tears of joy, just as a row of clouds sprinkles a mountain.

मित्रों सहित प्रणाम और नमस्कार करते हुए अपने वीर पुत्र को आप हर्ष के आंसुओं से वैसे ही सींचेंगी, जैसे बादलों की पंक्ति पर्वत को सींचती है।
English Commentary
The concluding verse of this section reiterates the cloud/mountain metaphor. Kausalya is the megharaji (row of clouds), and Rama is the achalam (mountain). The mountain remains firm and immovable, while the clouds shower it; similarly, Rama stands firm in his Dharma and truth, while Kausalya showers him with her affection (tears). This imagery cements the dynamic: Rama is the unshakable foundation upon which Kausalya can pour her emotions, bringing Sumitra's consolation to a powerful, poetic close.

इस सर्ग का यह अंतिम श्लोक (इस खंड का) पुनः मेघ और पर्वत के रूपक का प्रयोग करता है। यहाँ कौशल्या 'मेघराजि' (बादलों की पंक्ति) हैं और राम 'अचलम्' (पर्वत) हैं। पर्वत अचल और स्थिर रहता है, जबकि बादल उस पर बरसते हैं; वैसे ही राम अपने धर्म और सत्य पर स्थिर (अचल) हैं, और कौशल्या उन पर अपना वात्सल्य (आंसू) बरसाएंगी। यह सुमित्रा के उपदेश का समापन है, जो शोक को आशा में परिवर्तित करता है।
