शिवः सर्वेषु कालेषु काननेभ्यो विनिह्सृतः ।
राघवम् युक्त शीत उष्णः सेविष्यति सुखो अनिलः ॥२-४४-९॥
śivaḥ sarveṣu kāleṣu kānanebhyo vinihṣṛtaḥ । rāghavam yukta śīta uṣṇaḥ seviṣyati sukho anilaḥ ॥2-44-9॥
Translation
In all seasons, the auspicious, pleasant wind, emerging from the forests with balanced coolness and warmth, will serve Raghava (Rama).
हिंदी अनुवाद
सबसे सभी ऋतुओं में, वनों से निकलने वाली कल्याणकारी, उचित शीत और उष्णता वाली सुखद वायु, राघव (राम) की सेवा करेगी।
English Commentary
This verse extends the idea that natural forces will cooperate with Rama. Sumitra states that even the forest air will be favorable to Rama, being śivaḥ (auspicious), sukho anilaḥ (pleasant wind), and possessing yukta śīta uṣṇaḥ (balanced coolness and warmth). This imagery contrasts sharply with the harsh environment of the forest and aims to convince Kausalya that Rama will endure no physical suffering. It highlights that Sumitra portrays Rama as a divine-like figure for whom nature itself becomes accommodating. His dharma is his greatest protector.
