स्वागतम् ते महा बाहो तव इयम् अखिला मही ।
वयम् प्रेष्या भवान् भर्ता साधु राज्यम् प्रशाधि नः ॥ ॥२-५०-३८॥
svāgatam te mahā bāho tava iyam akhilā mahī । vayam preṣyā bhavān bhartā sādhu rājyam praśādhi naḥ ॥ ॥2-50-38॥
Translation
Welcome to you, O Mighty-armed One! This entire earth (my kingdom) is yours. We are your servants, and you are the Master. Please rule over our kingdom properly.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे महाबाहु! आपका स्वागत है। यह सारी धरती (मेरा राज्य) आपकी ही है। हम आपके सेवक हैं और आप हमारे स्वामी हैं। आप निश्चिंत होकर हमारे इस राज्य पर शासन करें।
English Commentary
This verse beautifully illustrates the concept of Atma-nivedana (total surrender) in Bhakti Yoga. Nishadraj Guha, though a king in his own right, immediately offers his entire kingdom to Rama upon his arrival. By stating "We are your servants," Guha dissolves his own ego and status, placing himself entirely at Rama's disposal. He invites Rama to rule, indicating that he sees Rama as the rightful sovereign of all lands, regardless of the exile imposed by Ayodhya. This gesture highlights the profound love and respect the tribal communities held for Rama, transcending political boundaries.

इस श्लोक में निषादराज गुह की अनन्य भक्ति और समर्पण भाव प्रकट होता है। यद्यपि गुह एक स्वतंत्र राजा थे, फिर भी श्री राम को देखते ही उन्होंने अपना राज-पाट, भूमि और स्वयं को राम के चरणों में समर्पित कर दिया। 'वयम् प्रेष्या' (हम सेवक हैं) कहकर उन्होंने यह स्पष्ट कर दिया कि वे राम को केवल एक मित्र या अतिथि नहीं, बल्कि अपना स्वामी मानते हैं। यह 'आत्म-निवेदन' भक्ति का उत्कृष्ट उदाहरण है, जहाँ भक्त अपने पास जो कुछ भी है, उसे भगवान की संपत्ति मानता है। गुह का यह प्रस्ताव राम के वनवास के संकल्प की पहली परीक्षा भी थी।
