पुनरेव महाबाउर्मया भ्रात्रा च सम्गतः ।
अयोध्याम् वनवासात्तु प्रविशत्वनघोऽनघे ॥२-५२-९१॥
punareva mahābāhurmayā bhrātrā ca samgataḥ । ayodhyām vanavāsāttu praviśatvanagho'naghe ॥ ॥2-52-91॥
Translation
"O sinless one (Ganga)! May that mighty-armed one (Rama), remaining sinless, enter Ayodhya again after the exile, accompanied by me and his brother."
हिंदी अनुवाद
"हे निष्पाप गंगे (अनघे)! वे महाबाहु (राम) निष्पाप (अनघ) रहकर, मेरे और भाई (लक्ष्मण) के साथ मिलकर वनवास के पश्चात पुनः अयोध्या में प्रवेश करें।"
English Commentary
Sita addresses Ganga as 'anaghe' (sinless) and prays for Rama to remain 'anaghaḥ' (sinless) as well. Forest life is fraught with the potential for violence and anger; thus, Sita prays that Rama's character remains untarnished by the harsh realities of exile. She desires not just a physical return, but a morally pure one. The phrase 'punareva... praviśatu' (enter again) concludes this section with a note of positive hope and unshakeable resolve.

सीता गंगा को 'अनघे' (पाप रहित) कहकर सम्बोधित करती हैं और राम के लिए भी 'अनघः' (पाप रहित) होने की कामना करती हैं। वन जीवन में हिंसा और क्रोध की सम्भावना रहती है, अतः सीता की प्रार्थना है कि राम का चरित्र वनवास के कठोर अनुभवों से मलिन न हो। वे भौतिक वापसी के साथ-साथ नैतिक शुद्धता की भी कामना कर रही हैं। 'पुनरेव... प्रविशतु' (फिर से प्रवेश करें) इस सर्ग का समापन एक सकारात्मक आशा और दृढ़ संकल्प के साथ करता है।
