सर्वेऽप्यनुगृहीताः स्म यन्नो रामो महीपतिः ।
चिराय भविता गोप्ता दृष्टलोकपरावरः ॥२-६-२२॥
sarve'pyanugṛhītāḥ sma yanno rāmo mahīpatiḥ |
cirāya bhavitā goptā dṛṣṭalokaparāvaraḥ ॥2-6-22॥
Translation
Indeed, all of us have been favored, because Rāma, who perceives both the superior and inferior aspects of all worlds (spiritual and material/high and low), shall become our king and protector for a long time.
हिंदी अनुवाद
निश्चय ही हम सब पर बहुत अनुग्रह हुआ है, क्योंकि परमार्थ और व्यवहार के सभी लोकों के अच्छे-बुरे को जानने वाले श्री रामचन्द्र जी लम्बे समय तक हमारे राजा और संरक्षक बनेंगे।
English Commentary
This verse from the sixth sarga of the Ayodhyakanda expresses the immense joy of the residents of Ayodhya in the context of King Dasaratha's announcement of Śrī Rāma's coronation. These words are spoken by the citizens of Ayodhya to one another. They consider it their great fortune that a prince as righteous, far-sighted, and benevolent to his subjects as Śrī Rāma will become their king.
The term 'dṛṣṭalokaparāvaraḥ' signifies one who perceives both the superior and inferior aspects of all worlds (high and low/spiritual and material). This indicates both Śrī Rāma's divine awareness and his administrative capability, making him an ideal ruler. His favor assures the residents of Ayodhya protection and prosperity. This declaration clearly shows the citizens' unwavering faith that Śrī Rāma would look after and protect them for a long duration, leading to all-round welfare.

अयोध्याकाण्ड के छठे सर्ग का यह श्लोक महाराज दशरथ द्वारा श्री राम के राज्याभिषेक की घोषणा के सन्दर्भ में अयोध्या के निवासियों की अपार प्रसन्नता को व्यक्त करता है। यह वचन अयोध्या के लोग एक-दूसरे से कह रहे हैं। वे इस बात को अपना सौभाग्य मानते हैं कि श्री राम जैसे धर्मनिष्ठ, दूरदर्शी और प्रजावत्सल राजकुमार उनके राजा बनेंगे।
'दृष्टलोकपरावरः' का अर्थ है जो सभी लोकों के परमार्थ और व्यवहार (उच्च और निम्न) को जानने वाले हैं। यह श्री राम की दिव्य चेतना और शासकीय क्षमता दोनों का सूचक है, जो उन्हें एक आदर्श शासक बनाता है। उनकी कृपा ही अयोध्या के निवासियों को सुरक्षा और समृद्धि का आश्वासन देती है। इस कथन से स्पष्ट होता है कि प्रजा को श्री राम पर अटूट विश्वास था कि वे दीर्घकाल तक उनका पालन और रक्षण करेंगे, जिससे सभी प्रकार से कल्याण होगा।
