देव्य् अनूढा त्वम् अभवो युव राजो भवाम् यः ।
ततः प्रावृड् अनुप्राप्ता मद काम विवर्धिनी ॥ ॥२-६३-१४॥
Devy anūḍhā tvam abhavo yuva rājo bhavāmy aham |
Tataḥ prāvṛḍ anuprāptā mada kāma vivardhinī ॥2-63-14॥
Translation
O Devi, [at that time] you were unwed and I was the Crown Prince. Then arrived the rainy season, which increases intoxication and desire.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे देवी! (उस समय) तुम अविवाहित थीं और मैं युवराज था। तभी मद और काम को बढ़ाने वाली वर्षा ऋतु आ पहुँची।
English Commentary
