पितुस् त्वम् एव मे गत्वा शीघर्म् आचक्ष्व राघव ।
न त्वाम् अनुदहेत् क्रुद्धो वनम् वह्निर् इव एधितः ॥ ॥२-६३-४६॥
Pitus tvam eva me gatvā śīghram ācakṣva rāghava |
Na tvām anudahet kruddho vanam vahnir iva edhitaḥ ॥2-63-46॥
Translation
"O Raghava, go yourself to my father and tell him quickly. Do this lest he, in his anger, burns you to ashes just as a raging fire consumes a forest."

"हे राघव! तुम स्वयं मेरे पिता के पास जाओ और शीघ्र उन्हें यह बता दो। कहीं ऐसा न हो कि वे क्रोधित होकर तुम्हें वैसे ही भस्म कर दें जैसे भड़की हुई आग वन को जला देती है।"
English Commentary
Remarkably, the dying boy advises his killer on how to save himself. Addressing the King by his lineage (Raghava), he warns of the spiritual danger. A sage's anger is compared to a raging forest fire (Vahnir iva edhitah). Shravan Kumara knows that voluntary confession is the only potential mitigation against a Brahmin's curse. This act of guiding Dasharatha shows a level of compassion that transcends the grievance of murder.

अपनी मृत्यु के द्वार पर भी श्रवण कुमार को अपने हत्यारे की चिंता है। वे दशरथ को 'राघव' (रघुकुल के वंशज) कहकर संबोधित करते हैं और चेतावनी देते हैं। ऋषियों का क्रोध 'प्रज्वलित अग्नि' के समान होता है। श्रवण जानते हैं कि यदि पिता को देरी से या किसी और से पता चला, तो वे श्राप दे देंगे। इसलिए वे दशरथ को बचने का उपाय बता रहे हैं। यह श्रवण कुमार की महानता है कि वे शत्रु का भी हित सोच रहे हैं।
