राजानम् स्तुताम् तेषामुदात्ताभिहिताशिषाम् ।
प्रासादाभोगविस्तीर्णः स्तुतिशब्दो ह्यवर्तत ॥ ॥२-६५-३॥
Rājānam stutām teṣāmudāttābhihitāśiṣām । Prāsādābhogavistīrṇaḥ stutiśabdo hyavartata ॥ ॥2-65-3॥
Translation
As they praised the King and loudly pronounced blessings, the sound of their eulogies spread throughout the expanse of the palace.

राजा की स्तुति करते हुए और ऊँचे स्वर से आशीर्वाद देते हुए उन लोगों की स्तुति की ध्वनि महल के विशाल प्रांगण में गूंजने लगी।
English Commentary
The volume of the praise is described as udātta (loud/lofty). The sound reverberates through the architectural vastness of the palace (prāsāda-ābhoga). On any other day, this would be a majestic wake-up call; today, it is a haunting reminder of the loss. The spreading sound signifies that the news of the death has not yet leaked out; the palace ecosystem is functioning on the assumption that the King is alive.

स्तुति की आवाज़ "उदात्त" (ऊँचे स्वर) में है। महल की बनावट ऐसी है कि आवाज़ गूंजती है ("प्रासाद-आभोग-विस्तीर्णः")। सामान्य दिनों में यह ध्वनि राजा को प्रसन्न करती और नींद से जगाती, किन्तु आज यह ध्वनि रानियों के लिए वज्रपात के समान है। यह ध्वनि यह भी सुनिश्चित करती है कि राजा की मृत्यु की खबर अभी तक गुप्त है, और महल का सामान्य कर्मचारी वर्ग अभी भी राजा के जीवित होने के भ्रम में है।
