व्यतीतायाम् तु शर्वर्याम् आदित्यस्य उदये ततः ।
समेत्य राज कर्तारः सभाम् ईयुर् द्विजातयः ॥ ॥२-६७-२॥
Vyatītāyām tu śarvaryām ādityasya udaye tataḥ । Sametya rāja kartāraḥ sabhām īyur dvijātayaḥ ॥ ॥2-67-2॥
Translation
When the night had passed and the sun had risen, the King-makers (ministers of state) and the Brahmins gathered together and entered the assembly hall.
हिंदी अनुवाद
रात्रि बीतने पर और सूर्य के उदय होने पर, 'राजकर्तारः' (राजा बनाने वाले अधिकारी/अमात्य) और ब्राह्मण (द्विज) एक साथ मिलकर राजसभा में आए।
English Commentary
This verse shifts from emotional grief to political action. The term "Rajakartarah" (literally 'King-makers') is significant; it refers to the high-ranking ministers and officials responsible for succession and state stability. Despite the tragedy, the machinery of the state must continue. Meeting at sunrise ("Adityasya udaye") signifies urgency. The assembly of Brahmins and ministers highlights the dual pillars of ancient Indian governance: spiritual authority (Dharma) and administrative power (Artha), coming together to address the constitutional crisis.

यह श्लोक राज्य की प्रशासनिक व्यवस्था को दर्शाता है। शोक के बावजूद, 'राजकर्तारः' (किंग-मेकर्स/अमात्य) अपने कर्तव्य के प्रति सचेत हैं। प्राचीन शासन प्रणाली में यह एक विशिष्ट पद या समूह था जिनके पास उत्तराधिकारी चुनने या उसका अभिषेक करने का अधिकार होता था। 'आदित्यस्य उदये' (सूर्य उदय) नई शुरुआत का प्रतीक है, लेकिन यहाँ यह एक संकटकालीन बैठक (emergency meeting) है। राजा का सिंहासन रिक्त रहना राज्य के लिए घातक हो सकता है, इसलिए वे तुरंत सभा में एकत्र होते हैं।
