स्वर् गतः च महा राजो रामः च अरण्यम् आश्रितः ।
लक्ष्मणः च अपि तेजस्वी रामेण एव गतः सह ॥ ॥२-६७-६॥
Svar gataḥ ca mahā rājo rāmaḥ ca araṇyam āśritaḥ । Lakṣmaṇaḥ ca api tejasvī rāmeṇa eva gataḥ saha ॥ ॥2-67-6॥
Translation
"The Great King has gone to heaven, Rama has taken refuge in the forest, and the radiant Lakshmana has also gone along with Rama."

महाराज स्वर्ग सिधार गए हैं, राम वन का आश्रय ले चुके हैं (वन चले गए हैं), और तेजस्वी लक्ष्मण भी राम के साथ ही चले गए हैं।
English Commentary
The ministers succinctly summarize the constitutional crisis. They list the unavailability of the key figures of authority: the reigning monarch is dead ("Svar gata"), the heir apparent is in exile ("Aranyam ashritah"), and his formidable brother Lakshmana has accompanied him. This process of elimination leaves the throne perilously empty. It is a factual statement used to build the argument that the current state of affairs is unsustainable and requires immediate intervention.
