बभूव ह्यस्य हृदते चिन्ता सुमहती तदा ।
त्वरया चापि दूतानाम् स्वप्नस्यापि च दर्शनात् ॥ ॥२-७०-२५॥
Babhūva hyasya hṛdaye cintā sumahatī tadā |
Tvarayā cāpi dūtānām svapnasyāpi ca darśanāt ॥2-70-25॥
Translation
Indeed, great anxiety arose in his heart at that time, due to the haste of the messengers and also the seeing of the (bad) dream.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उस समय भरत के हृदय में बहुत बड़ी चिंता उत्पन्न हुई। इसका कारण दूतों की शीघ्रता और (उस बुरे) स्वप्न का देखा जाना था।
English Commentary
Despite the lavish send-off and gifts, Bharata is not at peace. This verse captures his internal psychological state ('chinta sumahati' - great anxiety). The narrative links this anxiety to two specific factors: the unusual haste of the messengers and the ominous nightmare he experienced earlier. This juxtaposition of external wealth and internal dread creates a powerful mood of suspense and foreboding as the journey begins.

इतने सारे उपहार और शाही विदाई के बावजूद, भरत का मन शांत नहीं है। बाहरी वातावरण उत्सव जैसा है, लेकिन आंतरिक स्थिति चिंताजनक है। श्लोक स्पष्ट करता है कि दो कारणों से वे परेशान थे: एक तो दूतों की हड़बड़ी (त्वरया) और दूसरा पिछले रात देखा गया बुरा सपना (स्वप्नस्यापि च दर्शनात्)। यह पूर्वाभास (foreboding) पाठक को आने वाली घटनाओं के लिए तैयार करता है।
