स माता महमापृच्च्य मातुलम् च युधाजितम् ।
रथमारुह्य भरतः शत्रुघ्नसहितो ययौ ॥ ॥२-७०-२८॥
Sa mātā mahamāpṛccya mātulam ca Yudhājitam |
Rathamāruhya Bharataḥ Śatrughnasahito yayau ॥2-70-28॥
Translation
Having taken leave of his maternal grandfather and his maternal uncle Yudhajit, Bharata mounted the chariot and departed, accompanied by Shatrughna.

अपने नाना और मामा युधाजित् से (पुनः) आज्ञा लेकर, भरत शत्रुघ्न के साथ रथ पर सवार होकर चल पड़े।
English Commentary
This verse reiterates the final moment of departure, similar to verse 24. Such repetitions in epic poetry often serve to frame a scene or emphasize a critical action. It confirms the grouping: the two brothers, Bharata and Shatrughna, in one chariot, leaving the elders (grandfather and uncle) behind as they finally roll out of the city.
