भागीरथीम् दुष्प्रतरामम्शुधाने महानदीम् ।
उपायाद्राघवस्तूर्णम् प्राग्वटे विश्रुते पुरे ॥ ॥२-७१-९॥
Bhāgīrathīm duṣpratarām Amśudhāne mahānadīm |
Upāyād Rāghavas tūrṇam Prāgvaṭe viśrute pure ॥2-71-9॥
Translation
Raghava (Bharata) quickly reached the famous town of Pragvata near Amshudhana, where he approached the great river Bhagirathi (Ganga), which was difficult to cross.

राघव (भरत) शीघ्र ही अंशुधान के पास 'प्राग्वट' नामक प्रसिद्ध नगर में पहुँचे, जहाँ उन्होंने कठिनाई से पार की जाने वाली महानदी भागीरथी (गंगा) को देखा।

Bharata reaches the most significant geographical barrier on his route: the Ganges (Bhagirathi). The specific location is mentioned as "Pragvata," near "Amshudhana."
