She explicitly claims, "tvat kṛte" (for your sake), taking full responsibility for the conspiracy but framing it as an act of maternal devotion. She genuinely believes she has secured her son's future and expects him to see it as a benefit. She commands him not to grieve or feel "santāpam" (remorse/burning agony), urging him to be strong ("dhairyam"). The use of the diminutive affectionate term "putraka" indicates she still sees him as a child who needs to be guided to his prize. She is functionally blind to Bharata's value system. While she expects gratitude or at least acceptance, her admission that "I did this for you" transfers the weight of the sin onto Bharata's shoulders, which will only fuel his intense rage and self-loathing rather than the courage she prescribes.
