आभिषेचनिकम् सर्वम् इदम् आदाय राघव ।
प्रतीक्षते त्वाम् स्व जनः श्रेणयः च नृप आत्मज ॥ ॥२-७९-४॥
Ābhiṣecanikam sarvam idam ādāya Rāghava । Pratīkṣate tvām sva janaḥ śreṇayaḥ ca nṛpa ātmaja ॥ ॥2-79-4॥
Translation
"O Raghava, O son of the King! Having brought all these materials for the coronation, your kinsmen and the guilds are waiting for you."
हिंदी अनुवाद
"हे राघव (भरत)! हे नृपात्मज! राज्याभिषेक की ये समस्त सामग्रियां लेकर आपके स्वजन (बंधु-बांधव) और श्रेणियाँ (व्यापारी वर्ग/गिल्ड्स) आपकी प्रतीक्षा कर रहे हैं।"
English Commentary
The pressure mounts as the ministers present the physical symbols of kingship. Everything is ready for the coronation (ābhiṣecanikam). The mention of śreṇayaḥ (guilds/trade associations) indicates the democratic consensus or broad societal support backing this request. It’s not just a palace decision; the economic and social pillars of Ayodhya are waiting for a ruler. Addressing Bharata as Rāghava (descendant of Raghu) reminds him of his lineage's obligation to serve the people.

मंत्रियों ने तैयारी पूरी कर ली है। 'आभिषेचनिकम्' का अर्थ है अभिषेक की सामग्री (जल, औषधि, रत्न आदि)। यहाँ 'श्रेणयः' (गिल्ड्स या व्यापारी संघ) का उल्लेख महत्वपूर्ण है। प्राचीन भारत में राजा की शक्ति का एक बड़ा स्रोत ये श्रेणियाँ होती थीं। इनका उपस्थित होना यह दिखाता है कि समाज का हर वर्ग—परिवार ('स्व जन') और अर्थव्यवस्था ('श्रेणयः')—भरत को राजा के रूप में स्वीकार करने को तैयार है। वे भरत पर यह सिद्ध करने का दबाव डाल रहे हैं कि पूरा समाज उनकी ओर देख रहा है।
