ते तथोक्ता: समुत्थाय त्वरिता राजशासनात् ।
पञ्च नावां शतान्याशु समानिन्यु: समन्तत: ।

te tathoktāḥ samutthāya tvaritā rājaśāsanāt |
pañca nāvāṃ śatānyāśu samāninyuḥ samantataḥ ॥2-89-10॥
Translation
Thus addressed, they rose up quickly at the king's command and swiftly brought together five hundred boats from all sides.

राजा (गुह) की आज्ञा पाकर वे (निषाद) तुरंत उठ खड़े हुए और सब ओर से शीघ्र ही पाँच सौ नावें ले आए।
English Commentary
This verse showcases the discipline and efficiency of the Nishada tribe. Upon the rajashasanat (king's command), they mobilized instantly. The logistical feat of assembling panca navam satani (five hundred boats) ashu (swiftly) is impressive, reflecting the maritime strength of Guha’s kingdom. निषादों की अनुशासनप्रियता और कार्यक्षमता यहाँ द्रष्टव्य है। 'राजशासनात्' (राजा के आदेश से) वे बिना किसी प्रश्न के तुरंत सक्रिय हो गए। 'पञ्च नावां शतानि' (पाँच सौ नावें) एक बहुत बड़ी संख्या है, जो गुह की शक्ति और शृंगवेरपुर की नौसैनिक क्षमता का प्रमाण है। 'समन्ततः' (चारों ओर से) शब्द सूचित करता है कि नावें विभिन्न घाटों या स्थानों से एकत्रित की गईं ताकि पूरी सेना को एक साथ पार कराया जा सके।
