तत: सन्दर्शने तस्य भरद्वाजस्य राघव: ।
मन्त्रिणस्तानवस्थाप्य जगामानुपुरोहितम् ॥२-९०-३॥
tataḥ sandarśane tasya bharadvājasya rāghavaḥ |
mantriṇastānavasthāpya jagāmānupurohitam ॥2-90-3॥
Translation
Then, upon coming within sight of Bharadwaja, Raghava (Bharata) left those ministers behind as well and walked alone following the priest.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तदनन्तर, भरद्वाज मुनि के दिखाई देने पर (या आश्रम के बिलकुल पास पहुँचकर), रघुकुल नंदन भरत ने उन मंत्रियों को भी वहीं रोक दिया और स्वयं पुरोहित (वसिष्ठ) के पीछे-पीछे चले।
English Commentary
As Bharata approaches the immediate presence of Sage Bharadwaja, he executes the final step of shedding his entourage. He commands even his trusted ministers to halt, proceeding solely in the shadow of his Guru, Vasistha (jagāmānupurohitam). This isolation emphasizes the personal and spiritual nature of the meeting. It creates a scene of intimacy and reverence. Bharata, the scion of Raghu (Rāghavaḥ), presents himself not as a political figure surrounded by advisors, but as a solitary soul seeking guidance and blessings in his difficult quest to find Rama.

यह 'फिल्ट्रेशन' (छंटनी) की अंतिम प्रक्रिया है। पहले सेना को रोका, फिर अब मंत्रियों को भी 'अवस्थाप्य' (रोककर)। ऋषि के प्रत्यक्ष दर्शन ('सन्दर्शने') के समय केवल गुरु और शिष्य ही रह गए। मंत्रियों का काम राजनीति है, लेकिन ऋषि से मिलन आध्यात्मिक और व्यक्तिगत है। भरत 'अनुपुरोहितम्' (पुरोहित के पीछे) चलते हैं, जो उनकी पूर्ण शरणागति और अनुशासन को दर्शाता है। वे राम को मनाने जा रहे हैं, और इस कार्य के लिए उन्हें ऋषियों के आशीर्वाद और मार्गदर्शन की नितांत आवश्यकता है।
