प्रेष्याश्चेष्ट्यश्च वध्वश्च बलस्थाश्च सहस्रश: ।
बभूवुस्ऺते भृशं दृप्ता: सर्वे चाहतवासस: ॥ ॥२-९१-६३॥
Preṣyāśceṣṭyaśca vadhvaśca balasthāśca sahasraśaḥ । Babhūvuste bhṛśaṃ dṛptāḥ sarve cāhatavāsasaḥ ॥ ॥2-91-63॥
Translation
Servants, maidservants, wives, and army personnel by the thousands became greatly intoxicated (with pride/joy) and all were clad in new, unblemished garments.

हजारों नौकर, दासियां, सैनिकों की पत्नियां और सेना के लोग—सब के सब अत्यंत मदमस्त (तृप्त/गर्वित) हो गए और सभी नवीन वस्त्र धारण किए हुए थे।
English Commentary
The transformative power of the hospitality extends to appearance and status. Everyone, from the lowest servants (preshya) to the wives and soldiers, is clad in ahata-vasasah (new, unwashed/brand-new garments). Clothing in ancient India was a major marker of status; by giving everyone new, pristine clothes, the Sage effectively elevated the entire camp to nobility for the night. The word driptah (proud/intoxicated/wild) suggests a collective boost in morale and self-worth.

इस अंतिम श्लोक में सामाजिक समानता का दृश्य है। केवल उच्च अधिकारी ही नहीं, अपितु 'प्रेष्य' (नौकर) और 'चेष्टि' (दास/कामकाजी) भी राजसी ठाठ में थे। 'वध्व:' (स्त्रियां/पत्नियां) जो साथ आई थीं, वे भी इस आनंद में शामिल थीं। 'अहतवासस:' का अर्थ है नए, बिना धोए या कोरे वस्त्र। सबको नए वस्त्र प्राप्त होना ऋषि की उदारता थी। 'भृशं दृप्ता:' (अत्यंत गर्वित/तृप्त) बताता है कि उस समय एक साधारण सेवक भी स्वयं को किसी राजा से कम नहीं समझ रहा था।
