भरतार्द्धतृतीयेषु योजनेष्वजने वने ।
चित्रकूटो गिरिस्तत्र रम्यनिर्दरकानन: ॥२-९२-१०॥
Bharatārddhatṛtīyeṣu yojaneṣvajane vane । Citrakūṭo giristatra ramyanirdarakānanaḥ ॥2-92-10॥
Translation
O Bharata, at a distance of two and a half yojanas in the uninhabited forest, stands the Chitrakoot mountain, possessing delightful caves and groves.

हे भरत! यहाँ से ढाई (2.5) योजन की दूरी पर उस निर्जन वन में चित्रकूट नामक पर्वत है, जो रमणीय कन्दराओं (गुफाओं) और वनों से युक्त है।
