इति पृष्टस्तु भरतं भ्रातृदर्शनलालसम् ।
प्रत्युवाच महातेजा भरद्वाजो महातपा: ॥२-९२-९॥
Iti pṛṣṭastu bharataṃ bhrātṛdarśanalālasam । Pratyuvāca mahātejā bharadvājo mahātapāḥ ॥2-92-9॥
Translation
Being asked thus, the great radiant ascetic Bharadwaja replied to Bharata, who was eagerly longing to see his brother.

इस प्रकार पूछे जाने पर, महातेजस्वी और महातपस्वी भरद्वाज ने भाई के दर्शन के लिए लालायित भरत को उत्तर दिया।
English Commentary
This narrative verse connects Bharata's question to the Sage's answer. It juxtaposes Bharata's emotional state—bhrātṛdarśanalālasam (ardently longing to see his brother)—with the Sage's spiritual stature (mahātejā, mahātapāḥ). The description of Bharata highlights that despite the comforts provided, his singular focus remains the reunion with Rama.
