अनन्तरं तत्सरितश्चित्रकूटश्च पर्वत: ।
तयो: पर्णकुटी तात तत्र तौ वसतो ध्रुवम् ॥२-९२-१२॥
Anantaraṃ tatsaritaścitrakūṭaśca parvataḥ । Tayoḥ parṇakuṭī tāta tatra tau vasato dhruvam ॥2-92-12॥
Translation
Between that river and the Chitrakoot mountain lies their leaf-hut (Parnakuti), O dear one; there the two of them definitely reside.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे तात! उस नदी और चित्रकूट पर्वत के बीच (समीप) में उनकी पर्णकुटी (पतों की कुटिया) है; वे दोनों निश्चय ही वहीं निवास करते हैं।
English Commentary
Bharadwaja pinpoint the exact location: the parṇakuṭī (leaf hut) is situated between the Mandakini river and Mount Chitrakoot. The mention of a "leaf hut" is a stark reminder of Rama's ascetic vow, contrasting with the palace Bharata came from. The word dhruvam (certainly/definitely) provides Bharata with the assurance he needs—there is no doubt about Rama's presence there. The affectionate address tāta (dear one/son) adds a comforting touch to the instruction.

यह श्लोक राम के निवास का 'पिन-पॉइंट' (सटीक) स्थान बताता है—नदी और पर्वत के बीच। 'पर्णकुटी' शब्द बताता है कि राम ने महलों का त्याग कर पत्तों से बनी कुटिया अपना ली है, जो उनकी तपस्वी जीवनशैली का प्रमाण है। 'ध्रुवम्' (निश्चित रूप से) शब्द भरत को आश्वस्त करता है कि उन्हें इधर-उधर भटकने की आवश्यकता नहीं होगी, राम वहीं मिलेंगे। 'तात' (बेटा/प्रिय) संबोधन ऋषि के वात्सल्य को दर्शाता है।
