सा सम्प्रहृष्टद्विजवाजियोधा वित्रासयन्ती मृगपक्षिसङ्घान् ।
महद्वनं तत्प्रतिगाहमाना रराज सेना भरतस्य तत्र ॥२-९२-३९॥
sā samprahṛṣṭadvijavājiyodhā vitrāsayantī mṛgapakṣisaṅghān |
mahadvanaṃ tatpratigāhamānā rarāja senā bharatasya tatra ॥2-92-39॥
Translation
That army of Bharata, consisting of delighted Brahmanas, horses, and warriors, shone resplendent as it entered that great forest, terrifying flocks of birds and herds of deer.

वह भरत की सेना, जिसमें ब्राह्मण (द्विज), घोड़े और योद्धा अत्यंत प्रसन्न थे, वन के मृगों और पक्षियों के समूहों को भयभीत करती हुई, उस विशाल वन में प्रवेश करते समय अत्यंत सुशोभित हो रही थी।
English Commentary
The final verse of Sarga 92 captures the visual splendor and ecological impact of the army. The mood of the humans (and horses) is one of delight ('samprahrushta') due to the impending reunion. However, this joy causes terror among the native wildlife. The chaotic energy of the city invading the silent forest creates a striking image. The army 'shone' (raraja) amidst the deep woods, symbolizing the penetration of royal power into the wild ascetic realm.

सर्ग 92 का यह अंतिम श्लोक सेना और वन के बीच के विरोधाभास को दर्शाता है। सैनिक और ब्राह्मण 'सम्प्रहृष्ट' (अत्यंत प्रसन्न) हैं क्योंकि वे राम के निकट हैं, परन्तु उनकी उपस्थिति से वन के जीव 'वित्रासयन्ती' (भयभीत) हो रहे हैं। मानवीय उल्लास और प्राकृतिक विक्षोभ का यह मिश्रण अद्भुत है। 'रराज' (सुशोभित हुई) शब्द बताता है कि हरे-भरे वन की पृष्ठभूमि में यह सुसज्जित सेना एक अद्भुत दृश्य प्रस्तुत कर रही थी।
