आश्रमं तस्य धर्मज्ञ धार्मिकस्य महात्मन: ।
आचक्ष्व कतमो मार्ग: कियानिति च शंस मे ॥२-९२-८॥
Āśramaṃ tasya dharmajña dhārmikasya mahātmanaḥ । Ācakṣva katamo mārgaḥ kiyāniti ca śaṃsa me ॥2-92-8॥
Translation
O knower of Dharma, tell me where the hermitage of that righteous and high-souled one (Rama) is. Which is the path, and how far is it? Please tell me.

हे धर्मज्ञ! उन धर्मात्मा और महामना (राम) का आश्रम कहाँ है? उसका मार्ग कौन सा है और वह यहाँ से कितनी दूर है? यह मुझे बताइए।
English Commentary
Bharata poses specific logistical questions regarding the journey ahead. He refers to Rama with high reverence (dhārmikasya mahātmanaḥ), emphasizing that his brother is the embodiment of righteousness. He asks for the route (katamo mārgaḥ) and the distance (kiyān). This urgency indicates his eagerness to close the gap between him and his brother. It marks the shift from the magical interlude back to the hard reality of the search.
