स्यन्दनांस्तुरगोपेतान् सूतमुख्यैरधिष्ठितान् ।
एतान् सम्पतत: शीघ्रं पश्य शत्रुघ्न कानने ॥२-९३-१६॥
syandanāṃsturagopetān sūtamukhyairadiṣṭhitān |
etān sampatata: śīghraṃ paśya śatrughna kānane ॥2-93-16॥
Translation
O Shatrughna, behold these chariots yoked with horses and controlled by excellent charioteers, moving quickly in the forest.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे शत्रुघ्न! घोड़ों से जुते हुए और मुख्य सारथियों द्वारा संचालित, वन में शीघ्रता से दौड़ते हुए इन रथों को देखो।
English Commentary
Bharata draws Shatrughna's attention to the skill of their charioteers ('suta-mukhyaih'). Maneuvering chariots ('syandanan') at high speed in a forest ('kanane') is a feat of driving. This visual of speed and urgency reflects the internal state of Bharata; the entire cavalcade is rushing forward, driven by the collective desperation to find the exiled prince. It contrasts the mechanical speed of the chariots with the natural obstacles of the terrain.

भरत अपने अनुज शत्रुघ्न को वन में रथों की गति दिखा रहे हैं। ऊबड़-खाबड़ वन भूमि में भी 'सूतमुख्यै:' (कुशल सारथियों) द्वारा रथों का संचालन अयोध्या के चालकों की निपुणता को सिद्ध करता है। 'कानने' (वन में) रथों का दौड़ना एक असामान्य दृश्य है। यह दृश्य भरत की व्याकुलता और शीघ्रता का परिचायक है—वे और उनकी सेना जल्द से जल्द राम तक पहुँचना चाहते हैं, चाहे मार्ग कैसा भी हो।
