मृगा मृगीभि: सहिता बहव: पृषता वने ।
मनोज्ञरूपा लक्ष्यन्ते कुसुमैरिव चित्रिता: ॥२-९३-१९॥
mṛgā mṛgībhi: sahitā bahava: pṛṣatā vane |
manojñarūpā lakṣyante kusumairiva citritā: ॥2-93-19॥
Translation
Many spotted deer (Prishata) accompanied by does are seen in the forest, beautiful in appearance, as if decorated with flowers.

वन में मृगियों के साथ बहुत से 'पृषत' (चितकबरे मृग) दिखाई दे रहे हैं, जो सुंदर रूप वाले हैं और ऐसे लगते हैं मानो फूलों से चित्रित किए गए हों।
English Commentary
The description focuses on the 'Prishata' deer, known for their white spots. The poetic imagery compares these spots to flowers ('kusumairiva chitritah'), suggesting that the deer blend perfectly with the floral landscape of the forest.
