यत्ता भवन्तस्तिष्ठन्तु नेतो गन्तव्यमग्रत: ।
अहमेव गमिष्यामि सुमन्त्रो गुरुरेव च ॥२-९३-२५॥
yattā bhavantastiṣṭhantu neto gantavyamagrata: |
ahameva gamiṣyāmi sumantro gurureva ca ॥2-93-25॥
Translation
"You all stay here carefully; do not go further from here. I alone shall go, along with Sumantra and the Guru (Vasishtha)."

"आप लोग सावधान होकर यहीं ठहरें, यहाँ से आगे नहीं जाना है। (अब) मैं स्वयं, सुमन्त्र और गुरु (वसिष्ठ) जी ही आगे जाएँगे।"
English Commentary
This verse displays Bharata's profound sense of propriety ('Maryada'). Recognizing that a military intrusion would desecrate the sanctity of the hermitage, he halts the army ('neto gantavyam agratah'). He selects only Sumantra (the trusted family minister/charioteer) and Vasishtha (the spiritual preceptor) to accompany him. By limiting the party to the spiritual guide and the family elder, Bharata signals that he approaches Rama not as a king or conqueror, but as a humble brother and student.

यह भरत की शिष्टता और मर्यादा का परिचायक है। वे जानते हैं कि तपोवन में भीड़भाड़ वर्जित है। इसलिए वे आदेश देते हैं—'नेतो गन्तव्यमग्रत:' (यहाँ से आगे मत जाओ)। वे केवल दो लोगों को साथ ले रहे हैं: 'सुमन्त्र' (पिता के पुराने सारथी और विश्वासपात्र) और 'गुरु' (वसिष्ठ)। यह चयन दिखाता है कि वे राजसी ठाठ-बाट त्यागकर, एक पारिवारिक और धार्मिक मिलन के लिए जा रहे हैं।
