स यात्वा दूरमध्वानं सुपरिश्रान्तवाहन: ।
उवाच भरत: श्रीमान् वसिष्ठं मन्त्रिणां वरम् ॥२-९३-६॥
sa yātvā dūramadhvānaṃ supariśrāntavāhana: |
uvāca bharata: śrīmān vasiṣṭhaṃ mantriṇāṃ varam ॥2-93-6॥
Translation
Having traveled a long distance, with his vehicles completely exhausted, the glorious Bharata spoke to Vasishtha, the best among counselors.

लंबी दूरी तय करने के बाद, जब वाहन अत्यंत थक गए, तब श्रीमान भरत ने मंत्रियों में श्रेष्ठ वसिष्ठ जी से कहा।
English Commentary
The physical toll of the journey is highlighted by the exhaustion of the draft animals ('suparishranta-vahana'). Reaching a critical juncture, Bharata turns to Vasishtha. Addressing him as the 'best of counselors' implies that Vasishtha is not just a spiritual guide but a strategic advisor. This moment marks the transition from the arduous journey to the immediate search for the specific location of the hermitage.

सेना और पशुओं की थकान ('सुपरिश्रान्तवाहन:') यह दर्शाती है कि यात्रा कठिन और लंबी थी। ऐसे समय में भरत स्वाभाविक रूप से अपने गुरु और कुल-पुरोहित वसिष्ठ की ओर मुड़ते हैं। वसिष्ठ यहाँ 'मन्त्रिणां वरम्' (मंत्रियों में श्रेष्ठ) कहे गए हैं, जो संकट काल में उनके मार्गदर्शन के महत्व को रेखांकित करता है। भरत अब पुष्टि करना चाहते हैं कि वे सही स्थान पर पहुँचे हैं या नहीं।
