अयं गिरिश्चित्रकूट इयं मन्दाकिनी नदी ।
एतत् प्रकाशते दूरान्नीलमेघनिभं वनम् ॥२-९३-८॥
ayaṃ giriścitrakūṭa iyaṃ mandākinī nadī |
etat prakāśate dūrānnīlameghanibhaṃ vanam ॥2-93-8॥
Translation
This is the Chitrakoot mountain, this is the Mandakini river, and this forest appearing from afar like a blue cloud shines forth.

यह चित्रकूट पर्वत है, यह मन्दाकिनी नदी है और यह दूर से नीले मेघ के समान दिखाई देने वाला वन है।
